My dad left the US for a holiday in the Philippines end of November. He needs to come back here on May 2 but I’m concerned cause he’s old and have pre exisiting condition. I was gonna wait a little longer before letting him come back. How is that gonna work since he can only stay there for less than one year? Does USCIS have some kind of policy to let him extend his stay there.

Why does he need to be back by May 2?

That when he supposedly need to return.

Was this his original scheduled return or you believe he needs to be back for some reason?

YMMV
