Your husband can indicate his domicile is in the USA.  Your second question indicates you have not yet become an A-student of those I-864 instructions.  Doing so will be critical to your ultimate success.

Great, thank you for the information about the domicile!

And yes, you're right about the third question. I really haven't spent much time with the instructions, but what I've read before posting my question, is just confusing to me. I might just overthink it or - with me being the immigrant and English not being my native language - I might just understand it wrong. It's really these houshold size numbers which confuse the ####### out of me 😄

The second question is probably one that now answers itself since he'll have to put USA as domicile.

If you are not both fluent in English and skilled at attention to detail, then you are probably not the one to be directly dealing with completing the affidavit of support.  Get your husband or some other English as first language person involved to assist you.  You cannot rely on asking questions alone.  Without a good understanding of the instructions, in English, you cannot know what to ask about.

There are the "instructions" themselves, and also instructions directly on the face of the form that must be understood.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Thank you very much for your feedback. Of course my husband will be filling out the forms, but he's not the one that necessarily like to deal with forms, so I figured I'll do some research beforehand.

I'll try to become an A-Student in this topic 🙂

Have a wonderful day!
