Ok, thank you for the clarification.

i would have to ask for that favor in case, i would not like, but....

The issue is you need a joint sponsor or a household member that will add their income.  If your income is not enough and if you don't have assets to help (a primary car cannot be used, and primary home normally is not) then you need something else or else he will never be here.

His business that he runs, is it profitable? I'm unsure why a 22 year old would retire, or do you just mean he became self employed?

So does he need a certificate or degree to be able to teach people to fly planes in the DR?

Yes, exactly like here in the states, in fact he only need to convalidate the license, dont even need to take classes or exams to make it valid here because the training was under the same criteria and sylabus

Well, that’s probably a big positive then. If the CO can be fully convinced he is willing and able to support himself, then it’s a big help from a public charge perspective.

Oh, thanks for that good news!

He has two mor courses pending to finish in DR, Instrument and Commercial rating i will tell him to hurry up and finish them this year, those courses are not cheap cheap here and he is paying it by himself there, i think that helps even more.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi! now that i have the AOS clear, i am back to continue this.

At the beginning of this post you told me that now i can fill the AOS, but, what about the visa application?

I already have access to pay for the visa petition and to submit the affidavit, but, in which order do i have to do it?

And i also have another question, my priority date is 02MAR15, the Visa bulletin shows two charts, i am not too clear which is the difference between those two?

The confusion is because in the first chart the current date for my category is 15MAR15

and in the second chart is 01DEC15

Department of State - the NVC and consulate.

File the complete AOS with all the optional forms, the I-864 and including the I-944.   Include a copy of the NOA2 from the I-130.

Sorry, i barely understand you.

What you mean with "Priority Date is current " ?

  • Step 1: Pay fees.
  • Step 2: Complete an Immigrant Visa (IV) Application (form DS-260).
  • Step 3: Submit required financial and civil documents.

What i understand from that is i to FIRST pay all, then to submit the DS260 and THEN financial and civil documents (the AOS)
