Good afternoon team,

I'm back after four months because I have been approved (NAO2). From the experience of others, what comes next in the process? In the letter it says to wait at least 30 for the NVC to process and then wait until the consular has the paper work from my understanding. Will they send my fiancee a letter or more paper work to fill out? What are the next steps I have to take?

Thanks in advance!

NVC sends the PETITIONER an email or letter that the file has shipped to the consulate.

read the guides above for the K1 and steps

NVC does send K1 to embassy but the embassy is not scheduling any interviews at this time and they are backed up (3 months before all this happened )

they do give CR1 prioity in the casa embassy as long as all the documents for CR1 are done (embassy schedules those interviews in conjunction with NVC)

you need to do your 2019 tax returns as your interview will happen after the extended date so get that done and get a IRS tax transcript ASAP

for the interview

need IRS tax transcripts

physical exam (after getting interview appointment as it is only good for 6 months and paper from embassy is needed to schedule it)

fill out the I 134 affadivit of support

and ds 160 (immigrant fills out)

and the new ds 5540
