My 90 days window  to file for a conditional removal is already open as from 17th april and right and my greencard expired on 17th july and my job badge expire the same july 17th and if i dont have an extension letter  i am going to be  layoff-,right now my wife who is my spouse signed the papers before she feel critically ill and right now she is passing away as the doctors said she cant make it as her kidneys are failing due to the cancer, she is now breathing on ventilator and the doctors advice that we should take the decision to take off the ventilator for her to pass away but her family said No. I just want to hold on to get the death certificate because the hospital make a conference call with us and the family and told she is dead but still breathing with just the ventilator,i wanted to wait for her final breath before going for the death certificate and file as widow but right now i am stuck wirh this decision  to wait or submit the file she already signed as my 90 days are already open and the timing to get extension letter,i feel sad as she left so much burden on me

No one requires you to file within 90 days, you can file days before the exp date of the 2 years green card. Focus her final days now.

Dealing with a close family member on life support with no chance of recovery can be difficult.  I realize you have a great deal of issues swirling in your head right now.  To take one item off your mind, file the I751, you can deal with the consequences later when it comes time.

Sorry for what you are dealing with.

Good Luck!

Since she signed the petition already, just file as soon as soon as possible with the required paperwork. The only way to get an extension letter is to file. You should get the 18-month extension in less than a month after you file.

If you were to lose your job now before the GC expire, just know that you can file for unemployment insurance.

I hope that everything works out for you.

So I am trying to wrap my head around all of what you are saying (since the USA is going through a bit of a crisis with the pandemic and all). Your wife applied to remove conditions for you while she was ill (deathly so) to help you acquire your 10 year green card so you could live here (even though she may die during the process). And now that she is terminally ill she somehow placed a “burden” on you by either not dying or not being here to help you through the process.....and you are upset because her family won’t just let her die so you can amend your paperwork?

U get me wrong , i am not upset , i appreciate your help but i told u the family knew she has gone home, she was a fighter, she work hard for me , she told me what to do if she cant make it,cancer is terrible disease, hospital be calling everytime for decision but i rest everything on her family, as i told them whatever they agreed on is what i agreed on, if i can get extension letter in 4 weeks i am not bother but i am just been stress out for bills of over 3000 dollar in a month, if u know what i am going through right u will alway pray for me than saying i want her dead in order to file some papers
