During my reelection campaign for Congress in 2012, I traveled throughout my expansive district and knocked on many doors. Some people I met responded, “I’m sorry, I’m not a citizen so I don’t vote.” This was puzzling since I was knocking on their door precisely because their name was on a voter registration list provided to me by the state.

"We need to protect the integrity of US elections! Trump.. Russia!.. Putin!" --The left when talking about overturning the 2016 elections because it didn't go their way

"We can't protect the integrity of US elections by verifying the ID of the voter.. its too much a hassle!" --The left when talking about illegal voting

"It just doesn't happen!" --The left when talking about illegal voting

"We must ensure people buying guns have an ID+background!" --The left when talking about gun control protections well beyond protecting the integrity of elections

 

At what point are people going to realize that these standards have nothing to do with logic? Open borders, sanctuary cities, illegal aliens being given licenses and voting rights, releasing criminals all over the place, California's prop 47 ("Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act") resulting in cities doubling the $ amount of goods stolen before they'd attend to $950 resulting in massive theft spikes and theft rings, policies aimed at refusing to protect people legally protesting ...but then wanting more crimes related to gun ownership, speech, and so on.

 

Hint: It has nothing to do with being logical or not, these people know the instability and chaos they're sowing, it's what they want. Give me my way. Very transparent. People are going to have to grow a spine eventually and stop catering to this toxic and dangerous behavior, or continue watching as the left take over the plane and nosedive it into the ground.
