AoS G325A

Hey guys, I just found out today that I'm out of town for who knows how long for work (at least 3 weeks, probably more) and we're scrambling to have the AoS packet ready by thursday rather than mid of next week.

Quick question:

Do you fill out a G-325A for both of us again like when we filed for K-1 or just for him?

12. One passport-type photo (see note) of the US Citizen. Write the full name on the back. Place in a plastic bag and label the bag "Photo of <Insert Name>". Attach the bag to a sheet of paper and place behind the corresponding G-325a.

13. G-325A (all four pages) filled out by the foreign spouse signed and dated

Unless you are filing for something else? I might be mistaken since you are on the K1 AOS route

We're filing for the K-1 AoS.

The AoS guide just says:

12. G-325A (all four pages) filled out,signed and dated

it doesnt specify for whom the USC(me) or Non USC (him)

AOS guidelines posted on VJ, as above, require the biographic data for the USC and the immigrant applicant. So, go ahead and include the requested number of copies with the photos.

At the very least you can cheat and use the K1 information for the spouse and just update the address to your current one for present address.

The instructions right in the I485 state for you to fill out a G325A. You being the applicant, which is the foreign spouse.

I'm pretty sure, going the K1 route as I am, there's no reason to fill out 2 G325A's.

For AOS- it's all about the foreign spouse.

well I applied for AOS two months ago. I only filled the G325a. Got my interview notice yesterday. I was not RFE'd for my USC G325A

I disagree! You can't just use the same form and update the addresses. First of all the spouse information including name and birht date of your husband and wife wasn't applicable when filing k-1, and now is. Plus your employment would need change, plus if you have taken your husbands name, you need to fill that in instead of your maiden name.

This form has very different information to be put on once you are married.
