WORK permission during quarantine (merged threads)

Hello all! 

 

Does anybody had the work or travel permission approval during the quarantine? I know that USCIS  will be temporarily suspending the in person services, which envolves the AOS interview, but wondering if the work and travel process permissions are are running regularly.

You may want to ask that question in the AOS section as you are in the section for K-1 visa processing and so most here are not at that stage.

The quarantine shouldn't affect your EAD or AP. Those are being sent out. I also know that at least some interviews have been waived, and applications have been approved and green cards sent without one.

We actually just received the work permit in today's mail.  We had a strange course   We had gotten an RFIE for our i-485 response on march 20, on April 10 we were "ready to be scheduled for an interview" and today, less then a week later, we got our work permit in the mail.  I think that if there was no rhyme or reason as to how they did things before, there is even less now (but I'm not complaining lol)  Good luck!

That's awesome to hear, congratulations on your work permit!

I also got a RFIE asking for an original copy of my birth certificate and on March 23 we were "ready to be scheduled for an interview". Do you remember which office did you have to send your RFIE? Im my case, I had to send to St. Louis, MO.
