I’m currently at the NVC stage. I was wondering if my spouse and I can login at the same time together, from our respective homes? We want to work on the DS-260 together. I’m guessing I would select Petitoner, and she would select

Beneficiary, but otherwise, we should both be online at the same time.

Thank you!

You can't work on a DS-260 same time, there is session ID for it. You can facetime or teamviewer her to work on the DS-260 at the same time.

I am the petitioner and I filled out my husbands DS-260 since he doesn't speak English but first I printed the sheets which you can find here as a sample https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/DS-260-Exemplar.pdf and he gave me information I didn't know like passport number and stuff like that before I began. Our lawyer told us that I would have to login as the applicant. Blessings!

Thanks to the both of you for your quick replies. Based on your answers, we can’t work on it together via login, and if I, the petitioner, want to fill out the DS260, I would have to login as the beneficiary? Ok, got it. Thanks again!

It doesn't have to log in as beneficiary or petitioner. But you have to work on DS-260 from either side of you, the other side will help with infos / translations...
