Yes, at least 6 in this thread got it Wed. 4/15.

The IRS has given reasons why you don’t have it or haven’t gotten a date yet.

You Aren’t Eligible for the Stimulus Check.

You Chose to Have a Paper Check Mailed to You

The IRS Doesn’t Have Your Bank Account Information

You Didn’t File Your 2019 Tax Return Electronically

You Did Not Have Your Most Recent Tax Refund Sent to Your Bank

You Weren’t Required to File a Tax Return in 2018 or 2019

The IRS has the wrong bank info

Your tax return is still being processed.

There’s a glitch with your bank, tax prep software, or the IRS.

You recently filed your taxes.

You recently registered with the IRS Non-Filers form.

Hi!

I entered the US on June 30th 2019 as a K1 Visa holder.

I obtained my GC in early December 2019.

I have not received any impact payment. My wife received hers last week and there was nothing in there mentioning me..

She just filed her 2019 taxes today, what would be the next steps for me to obtain this stimulus payment?

Am i eligible? is there anyway I can check this?

Thanks in advance for your help and apologies if I've repeated anyone else's question.

Since she just filed, the advance rebate she got was based on her 2018 tax return. Since she was single (or filed separately) given the timeline you presented, she only got the $1200 max for her.

You will not get an advance rebate.

When you file 2020 taxes, you can claim the gap.

So if you file jointly in 2020 and would have gotten $2400, you would get $1200 ($2400 - $1200 already received = $1200).

Does this make any difference?

I believe the cutoff has already passed for the advance rebate. AFAIK, they are not going back and sending checks for any gaps. That will be addressed via the 2020 taxes (the actual source of the advance rebate credit).

I see people started to get paper checks.. 😕 but they haven’t processed our DD as of now

So.... I ended up owing IRS money for 2019 (meaning I made a payment to IRS early Feb, no refund this year) - IRS doesnt have my direct deposit on file...

2 weeks ago I entered my bank info on IRS’s “Get my payment”

Since last week after I checked my status I got this screen. The screen made me think that I’ll be receiving a paper check from IRS.

I’ll let you know if it’s a paper check or a direct deposit (still havent receive anything yet). Weird that IRS asked me all that bank account information just to give me a paper check.

You could not have entered your bank information before April 15th.....It appears you will, indeed, receive a check.
