Hello everyone.  I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this situation.  My employer only goes through The Work Number to give out proof of employment.  I called and managed to get a document sent out but it very clearly says that it’s only for personal use and not for “verification purposes”.

I talked with someone at The Work Number and they said that my employer would have to subscribe to their immigration document services to get what I need, but I doubt very seriously asking my manager to look into this will change anything if they don’t have it already.

Depending on when my interview is rescheduled to I’ll need this document due to not having enough paystubs (currently I barely miss the poverty level 125% but I got a promotion which should put me up to 150% or more).

Any thoughts?  Has anyone used the normal document they send out for their interview?

**I have assets to cover the difference but thought that it would be simpler to prove my income as high as possible just to be safe.

On one hand, I included the pages of document from the work number that referenced my current job (an employer from long ago also used them, so both jobs showed up) for both the I-134 for my Anastasia's K-1 interview and the I-864 for her AOS.

On the other, it wasn't for a new job, and the income shown on my tax transcripts was well higher than the requirements.
