I just received my SSN and my USC spouse wants to file taxes jointly, as it’s more beneficial (been married for almost 1 year).

Since I just got this number, is it possible to file jointly? Even if I don’t have any job or income related to this number?

Yes, use your new SSN. Remember that if you file jointly and earned income in your home country during calendar year 2019, that income must be reported as income on the joint tax return. There are ways to exclude foreign earned income using IRS Form 2555.
