That’s what I was thinking too. Now it’s the best time and reason to suspend immigration and play with our feelings.

we were planing our wedding in August, eh 😩

I hear you.... I was supposed to be there by fall of this year. We knew we could plan a big wedding so we were just going to do a civil ceremony and had planned a reception for all our family and friends of April of NEXT year. Now it looks like we will end up canceling our wedding because of the closure and waiting for my interview for the K1 visa...  and with back logs we have no idea at all.... its so frustrating 🤦‍♀️

Heyyy guys don’t be so pessimistic. We also waiting our interview in Warsaw, but I live in Belarus. Will be soon 2 years since we married, CR1 visa. For us it’s more frustrating. I heard that embassy in Ukraine started reschedule interview for spouses. So I really hope we will get good news from them soon. Be positive! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I’ll have my K1 interview in Warsaw too!
let’s hope they’ll open soon.
they canceled June appointments, and new appointments are possible starting July 20th. I know a girl she has her k1 interview the 23rd of July. Let’s hope they won’t cancel July appointments

Except that they didn't and those are just rumors without anything backing them up. I'm not sure why rumors are better than people being realistic.

Have they actually interviewed yet? There's still plenty of time for it to get pushed back.

The embassy called them directly wanting to reschedule for this Thursday, so unless the embassy doesn't know it's own availability three days from now, I'm feeling pretty optimistic that they wouldn't have cancelled it had the user not opted for an interview later in the month. The same thing happened in South Korea on the 12th, with CR1/IR1 applicants being called and given interviews for this week, so hopefully we'll have confirmation by the end of the week if these are real or will just be pushed.

I am guessing that the Ukraine Embassy is resuming visa services because the last covid-19 restriction in the country was lifted on June 15:  international flights were allowed to resume.

Per the state department guidelines for phased reopening, embassies depended on the host country's recovery from Covid-19.

I am hopeful other embassies will resume soon as well, depending on local conditions.

A letter to the white  house could be an idea. I think also it's not fair that spouses can travel and people waiting for as K1 not. I just got a request to our NAOH1 and the UCIS  got the information yesterday from us. So I really hope that the NAOH2 comes soon.... but if it sticks than at the NVC.... it feels like from one long waiting list to the other...

I didn't see my boyfriend 4 month... sitting on packed suitcases....

Damn

I'm also completely packed, waiting for this to be over. I just have to pack a backpack but other than that, I'm ready to go. I haven't been since January, so it'd be cool if this was over soon.

My last day at work is August 31st. I'm hoping to at least have an interview date by then because I quit my job and I don't want to spend months waiting for an interview after.
