IL for reschedule of interview ? Meaning they wont work for another 3 4 months 🤔

No, no one can see what date they are scheduling interview. only people who are applying for K-1 visa can pick their own date. CR1/IR1 will be picked by embassy. it won't be 3-4 months.

that video is not a reliable source

I contacted my senator on Monday by filling out a request for help with a government agency form on her website. Her intern called me today and wanted a copy of my I-797C for our K1 fiance Visa. No guarantee they will be able to do anything, but I didn't receive just a copy and paste email telling me to wait either. I have hope!

I will sum up what I wrote. I basically said I am requesting help to get my fiance here. I just turned 41. We plan to have a baby and the longer we wait the less of a chance we have for a healthy pregnancy or baby. His interview was scheduled in April and canceled due to coronavirus. He only needs his medical exam and interview. "Please help us".

I also asked for them to clarify the positions on K1s in the EOs on immigration. Said this is not only keeping me away from my fiance, but many families are suffering and waiting with no end in site and no real information. I also said Covid is stressful enough, but this extended separation is causing so many people so much heartbreak on top of Covid.

Who knows what they will end up saying, but maybe, just maybe they will try to help.

I would suggest that everyone at least try your senators or congressman. Explain the heartbreak it is causing your situations and how hard this is. Then include something like my second part to let them know there are many others experiencing this too.

Finger crossed for any help!!!

How do you know  by when will it be taking accepted documentailry qualfied cases from Nvc and giving dates

Your embassy website will inform you when they open and their procedures. You'll know more if you have a case number that can be applied to the CEAC website which will return your status. All this is outlined in the sub-forum for Monthly NOA2 to embassy threads.

Since I don't know your country nor do you have a timeline, I can't help you much. Both of those we can access using your profile and yours is incomplete and shows neither of those bits of information.

I would suggest sending an email to your embassy asking for an expedite giving the reasons you gave above. I have my visa in hand, leaving for the US next Sunday, after being approved by the embassy for an expedited interview.

Congratulations! Very happy for you. I did send the same information to the Algerian Embassy and basically got a copy and paste about being shut down and they will contact us when they resume Visa processing. That is why I contacted my senator. I have a letter in the mail today from her. Anxious to get home and see what it says. Hoping it says they will at least look into it and not another sorry there is nothing we can do for you.

What was your reason for the expedited interview?

My husband, who is a US citizen, living alone during the pandemic and needing emotional and practical support if he gets sick in Covid19. He's 60 plus and has an underlying disease. Also, I live in a multi-generational family which is a risk factor for Covid19.
