Apparently they initially only sent the form and money order. I guess you could fold that and stuff in it.

After all my years in VJ this doesn't surprise me because I have seen it before.

@payxibkawhat do you suggest we do? Because I am really worried and confused

USC petitioner needs to take care of sorting this out, and really should have looked into the lack of NOA1 back in November of 2019.

If the petition was sent to the wrong office, USCIS would reroute it to the correct office. You don’t need to refile anything.

In all my years of reading here, this has not been something I have observed.

You need to read through the facts, they don't line up.  Something is amiss.

Thank you @Cyberfx1024we have cancelled the money Order and would refile the petition before the end of the week. It’s just so painful the amount of time we already wasted on the previous one.

If USCIS actually received the original petition and asked for more information, the money order would have already been cashed by USCIS........this whole story still doesn't add up.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

The money order has not been cashed. The reason why asked for further documents was us to submit it so that when they start processing our case it would be easier for us. The USCIS rep told us that they haven’t yet began to work on our case I am sure they only cash your money when they begin to work on your case.

It was money order he used. We haven’t received any alert that it has been withdrawn.

That is because a money order has the money withdrawn when it's made rather than when it's cashed like a check.

Yeah, this is not how it works. Something isn't right.

I think you meant this for the op and not me. I'm finished with the K1.

Of course. What I meant was for the OP to follow your advise and also read the other stuff 😊
