good day... so I am a green card holder. 9 years. Last year, last minute, I took health insurance through Marketplace, used whatever I could (it was some tax credits) and got good price.

Now I woke up and started thinking that i did a stupid thing and became a public charge and will be denied for citizenship or another green card. Is it true? Shall I cancel my health insurance through Market place?

If there is a pecial forum for that please direct me there. Thank you.

It has been mentioned many times, it is not public charge with Market Place insurances.

You are not considered to be a public charge by participating in the health insurance marketplace

Medical insurance is in fact legally required and they will not penalize you for doing something legal. There is no harm in getting medical insurance form market place.  Relax and enjoy your life 😀
