You dont have to wear gloves but people in the grocery store do. And then touch all their personal items with dirty gloves. And then leave them in the parking lot.

I made a face mask but only wear it for my weekly extended grocery trip. But i get why people touch them all the time.  Its not really comfortable. I feel terrible for nurses!

I had some N95's left over from Drywalling, so I have shared them with people I know who are more exposed etc. I live at altitude so there is little oxygen at the best of time and with one of those on, well. It has changed locally, last week when I went in hardly anybody had a mask, this weekend, most people.

As far as I understand, last time the US had a quarantine, we had two peaks in many states because limits were let up too early. They're trying to prevent that even though people have cabin fever.

Considering that everytime I leave the house I am potentially asymptomatic and spreading virus everywhere, I am trying my butt off to stay home. I think we should be allowed to go on drives.  We should be smart and cleaning the pumps and pay at the pump.  I miss full service stations sometimes to be honest. They were great when my child was a baby.

I watch people with gloves on touching everything in their pockets, etc... they have no idea about cross contamination. Why even bother?

I leave the house daily but I try to stay away from people for their sake as well as mine. For all I know I could have already gotten it and not even known about it.

The glove thing...yeah, people don't know how to wear gloves or masks. And if you're going to touch something and then touch your phone...you should sanitize your phone or you haven't done anything.

This guy was out there alone because everyone else listened and came in when ordered to do so.

Beaches are closed and the state is under a stay at home order. Everyone who is out spreading this virus around is dragging this whole ordeal out for the rest of us. Everyone who is staying at home and doing their part is stuck at home longer because of people who wont stay home. Everyone who is unemployed will be unemployed longer.

You seem espouse the positions of wanting social distancing to end quickly, yet you support all these people who won't stay home. Do you not understand the contradiction?

One person on a beach, or even 50, or even 500... as long as they are spread out (and they usually are, except for spring breakers) won't make one bit of difference in the lockdown.  The guy was out there minding his own business, no one around for a mile.  No harm done.  The hypocrisy is everywhere.  Hell, we were just told yesterday about a family unable to travel to their second home due to this sort of stupidity.  I find that I can live my life as I did 6 months ago, if only I pay attention to keeping apart from others, holding my breath as I pass by them, and using the left gloved/right clean hand concept.

We tell people they cannot go to parks, lakes, or beaches, then we tell them it's ok to congregate in grocery stores.  Can YOU see the silliness in that?  There is 99.9% higher likelihood that I catch the covid off a can of corn in the grocery store, or a bottle of wine that was handled by an infected person than would EVER happen on a paddle board or a boat or beach.  Show me how I am wrong.

There were lots of people around. That's why everyone got ordered off the beach. All of them just happened to obey the law at that point and came in when ordered to do so. This guy wouldn't. Now he's going to be locked up for 6 months.

I get that he wants to go do things. We all do. I would like to take the kids and go out mountain biking. Kids on the block all want to go play catch. Understand, if we all start going outside to hang out and do the things we usually do, the economic disruptions will go on for months instead of weeks. You are not going to have it both ways.

Depends, I do go out on my bike, now the single tracks are still snowbound, but the dirt roads were clear until this morning. There is nobody around, what is the issue?

The one thing that I have heard some negatives is the second home owners who would not normally be seen until Memorial Day coming up from Denver.

The issue is not biking pe se. Just that when everyone is off work and kids are off school, every day is like a weekend and we all want to go out and do things. It might be OK where you are, but here, if everyone goes to the local park to hang out, that would be 500+ people. That's one of the reasons Denver closed city parks in the first place. Then the rest of the state quickly followed because people from Denver just started going out to the suburbs.

We go out for a walk once or twice a day and try to avoid other people while doing so. I'd like to be out all day when I'm off, but in urban areas, if we all do that, we won't be social distancing. There are too many people. The one day I did go for a ride, there were groups of people all over the trail. I eventually gave up because I come in contact with more people on the trail than I would at the convention center.

I have 90 acres of trail out my back door and I still encounter people on the trails. Masks on and pull off the trail but still it is a risk as we cannot be 6 foot apart in most parts of the trail.

These masks are going to be a real hindrance to single people -- how can you tell whether someone's good-looking or butt-ugly?

In addition, bank robbers can easily blend in with the crowd.
