My documents are already submitted on ceac and waiting to be reviewed, which is sometime this monrh. However, one document was not uploaded. I want to upload the missing document before NVC reviews and request it,  which would cause a delay. Will the last submitted document start over my review waiting time or NVC will review my documents base on first submission???Anyone who has been in the same/similiar boat what was your experience .???

Hey! I am curious as this relates to our process: how would you upload the missing document if you have already submitted your documents? For me, once I pushed submit, I was not able to change out any of the documents that I had uploaded.

I would put the missing document under 'add document' and select the name of the document that I would be submit.

I have been asking the same question, but some persons on here believes that you will start the line all over again.I have been reading other persons submission timeline and persons have done it and it seems NVC goes by your first submission date. Do whatever you feel is best for you. I'll do the same as well.

Hey! Just fyi...we called yesterday, and so did another person from visajourney, and the NVC said that each time you submit you get sent to the back of the line.

which makes a lot of sense, because if they would not do it, folks would start submitting incomplete cases like vacationers put towels on sun chairs in resorts only to reserve a spot lol. That's not how it should work :D

Oh I did not think about that!! I wouldn't be sly enough to do that ha ha

However, I do know that when you resubmitted rejected documents in the past, you didn't used to get sent to the back of the line. We have a friend who had a document rejected, he resubmitted, and heard back 2 weeks later. This was in 2017 though. Also, I read a post from someone on here that the first time they had a document rejected they heard back 3 days later. Then the next time they heard back 1 week later. Now, it is a full two month or more wait.....sigh

I think it varies a lot. I read about someone whose document was rejected last week, they submitted new document same day and got DQed the day after. They also state to be working on Jan 31 submissions this week, but we saw a DQ for February 11 yesterday. I think general rules are ruled by the exception. But it's only fair to be sent back to the end of the line if incomplete submissions are being made and missing documents uploaded before NVC has reviewed :)
