Stimulus check if wife if GC holder but never updated SSN

So for the stimulus check... Wife is a GC holder but we never bothered removing the "Valid of work only with DHS Auth" when she did her AOS

We've both been working, both have income, filed taxes this year. However the IRS website says you much "have a work eligible Social Security number"

Does that mean we need to remove the notation before she'd be eligible?

Thanks!

No. Her SSN is work eligible.

If it wasn't eligible for work, it would have "NOT VALID FOR EMPLOYMENT".

Update the SSN card when convenient but for the stimulus check you'll be fine

removing the notation is optional, she still has a SSN, thats what matters.
