Interview scheduled while USCIS is closed

Hello everyone!

 

I’ve been following several forums and different threads, and I’ve noticed that people who had their interviews cancelled due to the Covid 19 has their status as “Interview cancelled” or “Ready to be scheduled” (after being cancelled).

 

After having my interview cancelled (April 1st) and status changed to “ready to reschedule” (April 3rd), I got an update that my interview has been scheduled (April 9th).

 

Anyone else had their interview rescheduled during the shutdown? I couldn’t find another case. It’s making me wonder if it’s just a glitch in the system?

The USCIS historically has scheduled interviews 6 weeks in advance,  maybe they feel good about being open in again in May.   Time will tell if you receive a notice in the mail
