"Expertise" isn't useful if it produces no real world results. Coincidentally, it's also not science. But it is amazingly far more like religion. You can find millions.. billions, in fact, who insist on the same thing without a shred of proof. Looks like you have a winner.

 

And thus why appeal to authority is anti-science. The left aren't stupid, they know this (they use this very logic to throw religions aside), but because its not about the truth, but about gettdon't ing their way, they gladly wield the appeal to authority cudgel and bludgeon people with it as often as possible.

I never claimed to know better, I do know about the ice core samples taken at Vostok, samples that prove beyond a doubt that C02 follows temperature and not the other way around, Disproving the entire theory that C02 is to blame for the rise in temperature.

 

And YES!, NASA scientists like "James Hansen" are in fact left wing environments, look it up.. It was Hansen who intentionally entered false data into climate models to sound the alarm bell, and admitted the "mistake" later on.. It's all out there, you just need to research it.

No, I don't doctor shop on the regular or anything. But if I need a second opinion, I want someone who's qualified, not someone with a degree in Facebook medicine.

When I go to a doctor, I make sure I am fully informed ahead of time.  And being so, I have helped direct less-experienced doctors in the best treatment for me.  To each their own.

That Facebook degree thread was a parody.

 

If you're going from doctor to doctor, chances are, they were all "qualified" (very, very few are not qualified to practice), just giving advice that you believed (or in my case, knew) made no sense. Thus, blindly believing anyone based on their "authority" is, as you inadvertently admitted, a dumb thing to do, one you clearly don't do in practice. 

 

Thus, more proof that lefties aren't idiots, they just think that kicking up enough dust, whether making rational or, in this case, highly irrational arguments, will result in others acquiescing to their demands/views, unjustifiably. Batter weak-minded/willed people with enough cognitive dissonance (whether high quality or the dumpster bin kind i.e. this) and you just might get your way.

I never said I go from doctor to doctor. Knock on wood, I don't need to for now. I'm just saying that that if it need a second opinion I will only trust another expert. Not my own research or Joe Shmoe.

Overall the response has been good. We have never faced anything like this, so of course there will be hiccups. 

A good example was the reporter last night who tried to skewer Trump becuase there have been some small glitches in the sba paycheck program.

Could be extended to government.  Who needs the Bill of Rights!  We should just blindly follow whatever the government says.  Sarcasm intended.
