I just had a notification via the 'Lawfully' and 'Case Tracker' apps that my "case has been updated to show fingerprints have been taken". Just for background, I have not attended a biometric appointment. I used to have a Green card which I surrendered in 2016 so I am guessing they have used those biometrics. Does anyone know how long the EAD and AP take to arrive after fingerprints have been taken?

My district's congresswomen REFUSES to help me because a pending job offer and family support is not a reason. Mind letting me know what reason you gave to them? It's been 4 months for me since I applied my AOS/EAD/AP.

How can anyone give job without work permit. The first thing they ask is for work permit status. Between how do you connect with our congresswomen?

Still waiting on biometrics appointment.

Same. I wonder if anyone has been in communication with Uscis or any of the open ASCs about timelines for receiving the appointments? I assume they’d just advise you to wait and see.

Hi, I just saw the below post about biometrics in March AOS filers and it is really discouraging :(

it actually makes sense, they were ahead of us already, and still getting to those on top of the list. its just more waiting.

I'm ok with this, if i had my appointment cancelled in march and someone in may got it before me, that would be more discouraging.

I saw that post too and had the same thought. They’ve been waiting longer than us, and things are just going to be slower now, just like everything else in the world.  I’m just glad things are moving.

I talked to someone at USCIS today and she said they’ve started rescheduling biometrics as of July 13th. I asked if there was a timeframe within which I should expect an appointment and she said 30 days, so sometime mid-August. Of course this may or may not have been just said for the sake of saying something.

My case moved from RFE received to Ready to be Scheduled Interview. I applied on March 06 2020. It was I-485 and I-130 concurrent filing, I had biometrics in the system so I believe they pulled those.

Amazing news! Congratulations. :) I always get so happy whenever people report progress on their cases. It’s encouraging to know that things are, in fact, moving along despite our current circumstances.

What visa are you adjusting from?

Thanks! I was trying to adjusting from B2. I actually was not really expecting any movement until the end of the year so this was surprising.

Biometrics in the system, when did you do them?
