Does someone need to file a suit for everyone waiting for biometrics? Just like these guys are doing for their naturalization ceremonies:

Very interesting!! How did you find that you and how do you know that it is systematic?

Also, I know very little about the I-539 form, but would I be correct in guessing that getting the biometrics done for the I-539 would not allow the applicant to eligible for an EAD down the road? My current theory is that they want to slow down the EAD process so that immigrants can't work.

Also James, how were you able to receive your EAD card without taking biometrics? And is your EAD card blank where the fingerprint was supposed to be?

How much time it took for your expedite request to complete from the day you applied for it? I requested to expedite my AP 2 week back but haven't heard anything yet.

I never sent in evidence. I made the request on a Friday, and got rejected the following Monday. 😕

Did you try contacting your congressman? I had my first expedite request that I made on the phone with USCIS denied within a day due to missing biometrics (they didn't even ask for supporting documents)  but then contacted my congressman and it got approved a little later. They told me card will not be produced until biometrics are taken though but it still feels a little closer knowing the case is approved. Hope this helps!

Not yet. I have been waiting to hear about at least one case where people without biometrics get approved at the Nebraska Service Center (MSC) and then actually receives their card. Haven't seen a case like that yet. Also, I would need a new job offer before I can go through that process again...

My district's congresswomen REFUSES to help me because a pending job offer and family support is not a reason. Mind letting me know what reason you gave to them? It's been 4 months for me since I applied my AOS/EAD/AP.

from what i have seen is contacting USCIS directly for expedited has better odds than those in Congress/House.
