Thank you! I filed via USPS and it only says "Your item was Delivered" is there a difference between Delivered and Received? How do i know my packet was received by the Chicago lockbox?

No delivered is fine, that's exactly what ours said. The only other thing is emailing that lockboxsupport address but that can take a while. We still haven't heard anything from them haha. But it sounds like you're good, at least based on my experience :)

Just a small update...We got one of those weird IOE case numbers, so I have no idea how long the process will take for us. And last week we received another letter from USCIS with our "Online Access Code" so that we can setup an online account, which was the only wait to add our case number to our account.

I wish I knew more about this so I could get an idea on how long things will take. But I guess I'm going to be testing my own patience over the next year!

Hi, my AOS application was rejected today due to incorrect card information, I checked my photocopy and it looks like one digit may have been mis-read (so annoying as my phone number and email address was above, ugh), would it be worth sending a check instead and do I have to file brand new forms as they all look like they’ve been through a scanner and labelled and then signed through?? I think the EADform expires on 5/31 and it’s a bit close?? Any advice would be great....

What do you mean by incorrect card information? Your credit card? In our case, we just wrote a personal check for $1,225 and wrote my husband’s name and DOB in the upper part and on the left lower line “I-485 and biometrics fees”. It was accepted just fine. Don’t forget to sign the check. Good luck!

@portorusa Thank you, I wrote on the G-1450 form my credit card information and I think a 5 has been interpreted as a 3 so I got the whole thing rejected, I think I may use the check option now!!

Hi all,

Quick update on the SSN front. It’s been a little over two weeks since my husband managed to get his in-person appointment at our local SSA office. His case was sent off for manual verification and we have yet to receive the card in the mail. Called the office where he filed this morning and they told him that his documents are still being verified and to expect it to take another 1-2 weeks.

@YvetteS, have you gotten any updates on your card/number?

Hi! I’m sorry but what does MSC mean? :)

It means Missouri, my case is at the NBC but I can't put that into any processing times on the USCIS website to find out how long the process would take :(

Thank you! So my receipt numbers says MSC in the beginning so it must be processed in Missouri then?

That sucks! I don’t even dare to take a look at MSC then.. feels like this is going to take a good while.

Yes, but I'm not sure if it will take so much longer if it's at NBC.

They all start off at one of the NBC locations and then at some point in the process gets sent to the field office. At what point idk.

I'm in a similar boat. I got an IOE case number, so I can't get any info on how long it will take :(

Does anyone know how we can find the processing times for MSC?

The only process time you can find at MSC which will be listed as National benefits center is for the EAD
