It has been exactly a month since we sent AOS packet. Haven't received Notice of action yet.

Per your timeline you sent your package on 4/27. It’s not a month yet. But if I were you, I’d chatted with Emma first thing in the morning to check if your case is in the USCIS system yet. Personally I found out my I-485 case number that way. Good luck!

I tried chatting with Emma and she doesn't sound very helpful. what you need to ask her to to find I-485 case number? she is asking me to email lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov to check the status of the packet. I sent email inquiring about the packet with the glimmer hope that i will get the response soon.

You can ask Emma for an Live Agent and she will connect you to a USCIS Representative and with a Little Bit of luck he/she can give you your receipt numbers if your forms are already in the system. That’s how I got my receipt numbers too .

Thank you! They do not have receipt number yet. I also emailed lockbox. At this time do i still wait for few weeks? refile? If i ended up refilling and they ended up accepting both forms i will have to pay fee twice. This is so confusing.

There is no need to refile unless you get a rejection of your case :) It has been 20 business days since you filed according to your timeline. Give it 30 business days before you go into action.

There is absolutely nothing anywhere official that says anything other than 30 real days (not business days). Honestly, I'm not sure where the "30 business days" thing comes from. The YouTube Immigration Service?

I do not see any other options other than waiting. I-94 expires 6/15. Would you be able to tell me what needs to be done so that my wife will not be out of status please?

There is nothing that you can do right now.

Since our I -94 is about to expire. Do we file extension?

You can't extend the 90 days from your K1. You just have to wait now. Don't go to close to a boarder and don't rob a bank 😉

Just got a courtesy letter that we did not submit a I 693. Said that we should bring it to the interview or if an interview is not required we will receive a request for evidence. At least I know they looked at our case.

At least they are actively working on your case.

True :D

I just received my RFE and it's the birth certificate they want, again. I know for sure that we included it multiple times but I'm happy it's just that. Will copy it today and send it out tomorrow.

I didn't include the I 695 either since it runs out after a couple months and wanted to wait until the interview. I just hope we get through fast. At least we know they are working on it.
