I know this is too early to be talking beyond receiving NOAs for receipt of the case. But I was just checking the March 2020 thread, which is just a month behind us, already getting the card combo approved! The best of all is that it is happening without the bio-metrics. What this could mean is some of the cases could be lucky based on whatever criteria the USCIS has for either waiving the bio-metrics for the combo card or using the data from history for picture and fingerprint. Just thought share the good news and someone on this group might get lucky as well! :)

Lets keep our fingers crossed.

We have a similar experience. Mailed our AOS package on 4/24, it was received and signed for on 4/28. Since then not a peep. I contacted USCIS through chat, they said they don't see our cases in the system. They told us to wait for 2 more weeks, then contact USCIS again (total 30 days after the receipt date is required).

Do they specify 30 days as 30 working days or just in general?

I have sent AOS package for wife on 04/21/2020. It was received on 04/22/2020 shown by FedEx courier signature. I did not used the form for text notifications which i regret now. The payment has not been withdrawn from the bank and no receipt number has been received. Is it normal  for USCIS that much time not to withdrawn money for more than 2 weeks or can i expect a rejection of the packet? I think it is taking too much time. Please advise.

You can expect to wait up to 30 days to have payment withdrawn. I believe after you have been waiting greater than 30 days you can call USCIS to enquire about the status of your case.

Yeah, same situation. Lockbox received our forms on April 15, no word yet...

our package (i-485)  was sent to lockbox facility on 9 April and received it on 13 April. I called Uscis helpline today, and the representative told me that our case was received at the centre on 01 May.

Guys

This is more of a general question but the curiosity is killing me and had to ask. I am temporarily working out of my current aparttment and two hours away. I know the status number for my 130/131/765 and they are 70-72. Would my 485 application be 69 or 73? Reason I am curious is that I am sure they follow a standard of 485 on top i guess or bottom. And there is a change(RFE) on 69 which I was thinking to be mine. I dont want to get too excited yet. I filed Apr 21 and I am thinking RFE might be medical actually as rest, everything is complete my lawyer and I feel.

The question is: Would my 485 be on top of the other and be 69 when others are 70-72 or would it be at the end as 73?

Any insight would be helpful. And I cant go back to my apartment before the end of weekend to even check .

My 485 is the lowest number in the sequence. So try 69
