I sent one in with the entire package. I never got text notifications or email tho.

@malajoe wow, I can’t believe the whole process is so inconsistent between filers.... it’s not fair when it’s your livelihood and future in the hands of these people and you rely on the process to give you the confidence you’re doing the right thing...

Yes its pretty crazy. Im petitioning for my husband. We are just hoping for a speedy process. But the offices have to open up in other for that to even happen.

We are hopeful too, I came here on K1 and recently got married to my USC in California, we struggled to get  a marriage licence and get married and now I’m preparing all these forms prior to the 90 day time limit, I couldn’t get an SSN due to the offices being closed so hopefully once submitted they can do that though this process too and I get the EAD in a reasonable amount of time too....good

Hey all! I've yet to receive any texts, NOAs etc, but they cashed the cheque we sent. Does that have any weight? Can I expect an NOA now?

My NOAs were mailed out the day my check was cashed. If they took your money that means your case was accepted. I didn't get any txt or emails either and i filled that notification form

 

Observation: U spelled cheque like we do on my island. Are u french?

April 30th. Was received on Monday the 4th at the lockbox. I'd say that's pretty quick!

Has anyone gotten an RFE recently and what’s it for?
The things I suspect they could be for:
-My husband hadn’t filed his 2019 taxes yet which he’s doing now.

-I couldn’t get those education equivalency reports due to COVID. I hope it isn’t that because I’ve no way of getting them!
-I sent error reports from the credit score websites because I didn’t have a credit score. I’ve since gotten a letter from Equifax saying I don’t have a credit score so it would be handy if that’s what it was 😔

Mine also says that, I was referring to the field "Class (If Applicable)" in the letter body as highlighted in red in the attached image.

Advance parole 

 

you may not leave the US whilst your AOS processing is pending- doing so will render the process abandoned.

 

Advance Parole - allows you to travel for emergencies without abandoning your AOS process.
