Got it, that was the answer I was looking for. Thank you all

Most people here are adjusting from K-1 status so they are not required to file the 130.  We just refiled my husbands paperwork because we were rejected the first go around for errors on the form 944. Basically it was incomplete. fingers crossed we get through

Hi all,

Regarding all the forms that will be submitted with the AOS package (I-485,I-131,I-765,I-864 and I-944), is it necessary to write N/A on every single answer that does not apply to me? from every form? Trying as much as possible to avoid getting a RFE...

You would not get an RFE for that.  They would either accept your forms, not caring where you left blanks and understanding it didn't apply, or they will completely reject your application and send it back.  I am 99% sure that is why mine came back the second time.  It is not worth it to not put them in.  It takes two minutes to copy and paste it over and over, and there ARE some jerks that are rejecting it for this reason, I got the same advice from everyone I consulted with after my second rejection to put N/A any and everywhere and got accepted this time around.  Just do it!

Same here - mailed application on the 7th April 2020 received 10th April 2020 - but still no sign of anything- called yesterday - it is not yet registered.

It took them 25 days to process mine. I just got noa1 for all three today. So one month from delivered to receive noa1.

Imagine I paid a lawyer to do that one form and it was still messed up. I am the USC. The lawyer basically left a lot of the boxes unchecked.  he basically took my money and didn't put the work in. The second time around I made sure everything was done. i was able to get credit report and score for my husband even thought he has no SSN. I added him back in October as an authorized user on my card so that helped him establish a credit history. I am active duty so for the health insurance annual premium I was confused the first time but did research and we have a $0 premium. Also sending my package the second time around i filed a i 864ez instead of the i 864 ( we are adjusting for b2). I am hoping that it gets accepted this time but i filed the 2021 expiration I 485 (some ppl are getting approved with it and some are not). but just make sure all your forms are current and filled out completely. keep copies of everything you send in.

Packet sent - 04/23/2020

Packet delivered - 04/25/2020

Credit card charged - 04/30/2020

USCIS NOA1 texts - 05/03/2020

How did you manage to pay with the credit card? I thought it only gives you two options: 1) money order or 2) personal check?

Just checked my status and I have an RFE coming my way. Really nervous! I wish it told you online what the RFE was for.

How did you check your status? Do you have a USCIS case number already?

Received my I-797C; Notice of Action forms for:

I-130, I-765, I-131

I was just curious if I should be receiving a separate NOA for my I-485.

Also on the I-130 NOA, the beneficiary Class is blank. Should it say TN?

Received our NOA's in the mail yesterday 😊

Theoretically speaking, how long is the average wait time for a biometrics appointment aftetr receiving the NOA for I485?

I understand that there may be a back log due to the closures, but what's the average wait time? (pre-COVID).

Thank you!
