Has anyone traveled outside of US with combo card? Did anyone encounter any problem when entering the US? Thank you

I did! Back in 2020. I had no problems coming back. They just make you go to another room and explain a little bit why you traveled and for how long. I had to leave the country because my mom had surgery so maybe that helped. I left for 3 months.

My status was updated to "ready to be scheduled for an interview" about 15 days ago but haven't heard anything yet. My field office is Seattle, WA. I called USCIS yesterday and they said an interview date has not been confirmed.  Does it usually take this long to schedule an interview?

Oh wow, is this what we have to look forward to in Orlando as well?! We just got EAD approved today after almost 10 months. How long did yours take? And I hope you get your interview soon!

When I first filled my i485 I didn't include medical exams, because I knew by the time they would get to my case they wouldnt be valid anymore and I didn't want to have to pay for those medical expenses twice.

So after my i130 got approved (end of feb 2022) I received a letter in the mail at the end of march requesting my medical examination to be sent to the address of my local uscis office here in Orlando.

Thats the one thing that got me hopeful bc I know my case is now here where im supposed to have the interview. I sent my exams April 25th and havent heard anything else back :(

I guess :( When I called around to get my medical exams all Drs where busy for weeks bc apperently everyone got their request at the same time. This only makes me assume that the office is a mess and theyre just gettig around all the delayed cases... Again just an assumption.

I got my EAD on April 2021, it already expired and have yet to renew it, was hopeful I would get my greencard soon so I wouldnt need it bc Im not working at the moment anyway.

thank you, good luck in your process as well!!

Oh my god!!!

i was so worried.. i applied in april 2020 did the finger print in august 2020. Never heard anything after and i was so worried. I made an inquiry on 1/1 because my case just became outside of normal processing time. Got an email response it was transferred to a nonlocal field office.

today my app showed new card is being produced. I am assumming this is the green card! I tried everything including expedite process and house of representative. Nothing worked. I am surprised the green card is produced without an interview!!! Yay!! It took almost three years!

Am i only one still who did not get the interview? Its almost 3 years…..

We filed May 2020.  We have the combo card and even a renewed EAD.  But nothing about an interview.  Montgomery Alabama processing time is 29 months.  We are at 33, but the case inquiry time is not until November 2023 which makes less sense than anything else in this process.

Sorry to hear. I absolutely did everything possible and nothing worked. But my case inquiry for outside of normal processing time was on 1/1/2023. As soon as it hit, i submitted the case inquiry. And green card was approved without an interview. I hope you get called on soon but keep on eye on case inquiry when november 2023 hits. Wishing you the best.
