Hey guys, super happy for all of the updates lately. Makes me feel hopeful.

Has anyone in New York gotten an interview yet?

I did! On April 19th and got approved. I got the green card last Friday. So relieved to be done with this stage of this endless process 😂. All the best of luck to you and everyone else who’s still waiting!

Just did the interview today. And case online updated an hour after to New Card Being Produced.

interview was a breeze. Our officer seemed nice, friendly, chatty but also intelligent and competent. She explained my vaccination records are still valid and that the i944 is basically not a thing anymore so we didn’t need to resubmit any document that isn’t related to both of us. We also only submitted docs that we haven’t already like the new taxes and pay stubs, health insurance, life, and car. Also submitted like hundreds of pics with description (date and place) on the back which she appreciated especially the ones that we “bookmarked” which have other people in it. She seemed to be so familiar with our case that she can even recognize familiar faces on the new pics we submitted 😅. Apparently they like it when there’s other people in the pic like family members, etc but she also understood that because of COVID, there wasn’t a lot of get together’s.

overall, since according to her, our case was kind of ‘unique’ from the usual “we-met-online” meetcutes (we didn’t meet in a dating site) she didn’t grilled us that much.

so just answered truthfully and stuff and we were done in 20 mins which included a bunch of friendly but chatting. (We waited for like 30 mins, though)

Have any dallas / texas filers got their interview scheduled yet? Have not heard anything since the biometrics were applied to the case...

Also in Dallas and no interview date yet either. We mailed the packet around this time last year and it was filed May 4. Got the combo card back in October, but the I-485 case status has been stuck on “fingerprints taken” since last August.

We spoke to a live agent via Emma a couple of days ago, and she said that our interview hadn’t been scheduled yet. Hoping that the folks in our area get positive updates soon!

Got a “follow up” call today from USCIS

after verifying my identity - the representative advised he was NOT an adjudicator - the case is still with he proceeded to read up the pending expedite request and missing notification ...  he could not give ANY insight into the case or provide any information- other than the case is still with the USCIS National Benefit Center.

I wonder what the point is - an update with NO update- is even more frustrating.

he thanked me for call -  ( he called me ) then terminated the call - not the most polite and supportive representative - I have encountered.

I asked this awhile ago but worth asking again... has anyone been scheduled for an interview who did NOT receive the "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" update? Our status has been stuck on "fingerprints were taken" since August and I'm really starting to stress that our packet has fallen behind someone's desk or something.

This was how it appeared on our case status:
