Well that’s good, the T2 I spoke to said wouldn’t email it and that I have to wait for it to come in the mail or get it online via my account under the documents tab... I went to look and there’s no documents tab 🙈 I’m giving it until Monday then calling them again for it to be emails since you can’t actually get in to do the interview without first showing them the notice

I would suggest calling them, cant trust USPS.

Think i'm almost in the same boat as you, probably one step behind as I still dont have my actual date.

I got scheduled for an interview 2/4 but didnt receive my notice in the mail. Have sent the online request to say i didnt receive the notice which has now been referred to the NBC. I have put in requests for tier 2 officers to call me back and still waiting for them to call. Right now i feel like im totally out of options apart from waiting for them to update and say i missed my interview date and hopefully reschedule another! but who knows how long that will take. Judging from other posts it seems like my interview should be next week if not this one :( hopefully someone gets back to me soon.

So i got a letter from the USCIS today, thinking it would finally be my appoitnment notice, even though I got it over the phone yesterday. But it wasn't, it was with regards to my enquiry online for the missing interview schedule letter that was forwarded onto the NBC.🙄 The letter stated that they cannot offer any information or give me a time and place as to when my meeting is! talk about useless

So i would suggest anyone waiting for their interview notice if its gone missing and you havent received the letter with the date and time don't bother filling in the online form to request another. Call and insist on speaking to a tier 2 officer.

I just had my interview in Phoenix, AZ and everything went super smoothly. Approved on the spot. My husband came in with me and we stayed together the whole time. The officer that assessed my case was very kind. She asked if i was employed and details regarding my employment. She went through my I485 questions with me and then just asked me if there was anything else I would like to add to my file. So I gave her our proof of joint assets to add to the file- house title, car title, joint utility bills, joint bank account records and other documents of that nature.

Now time to celebrate 🥳

Congratulations!! That is soo amazing!! 🥳🥳🥳

So after another failed call to a tier 1 who explained he couldn’t put another request for tier 2 I finally got a call back after 30mins! My interview is Monday 8th March! Good thing we kept calling to be honest otherwise it would’ve been a missed interview

Can you tell me when your initial Tier 2 request was put in? Waiting on a Tier 2 call is like watching paint dry!

Help needed..... I know most of people are talking about the interview... I had my biometric on 1/8. After that, no update at all.

I do need my EAD card so I can start job hunting although I am not sure I can file financial loss coz my husband is the major income in our house. Does anyone know how long normally take after the biometric?

Am I qualify to file financial loss to expedite my case?

The agent told us that the intial tier 2 request was put through 17th February, so almost 3 weeks.

I suggest calling them again if you can

Nothing stopping you from looking for a job, in fact if you get a job offer in writing you could use that to Expidite your EAD... you just can’t accept or start it until after EAD is approved

I put in an inquiry with them asking for the appointment and two days later it was scheduled.

Well USCIS finally got around to processing my work authority “Card Being Printed” according to the email I should receive it within the next 30 days... Only took them 11 months, 3 case enquiries and 4 phone calls...

I really don’t see the logic behind their processes anymore particularly since my GC interview is in two weeks... like seriously, what was the point of applying for EAD if you don’t actually receive it until after  your GC Interview 🤷‍♀️

We’re starting to get discouraged. Last update we had was “Biometrics Scheduled” on July 28th”. It’s almost a full year since he filed and I feel so badly for him. He doesn’t have any of his belongings and he said the other day that he feels like he’s living out of a suitcase. It seems like something is wrong since the biometrics were taken and applied to his EAD. But we also can’t chance on his case because it’s within normal processing.

It’s great to see so many people get their interviews, but tough to watch my husband just sit in limbo. And I guess we’ll have to start looking into renewing his EAD & AP soon.

But, I guess on the plus side, by the time he actually gets his green card, we will have been married 2+ years. So, at least it will be the 10yr one. Trying to find those very small silver linings 😞

Submit a case enquiry FORGET the outside of processing one go straight for “letter not received” or “card not received in mail” got my case moving along fast.. 10 months heard nothing then within a 1 months of pushing the other two my EAD is getting printed and my interview is scheduled. Worth a try at least.

Hey everyone. Just to share, we had our green card interview yesterday and, thankfully, it was without stress and the case was approved immediately :) Our status updated later that day to "New Card Being Processed." As of today it now says "Case Approved" (I believe this is the normal progression of things, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.) As my wife never received her EAD or AP we are very happy this will allow her to start having some semblance of a life again. For those curious:
Case filed April 29; Biometrics Taken on January 7; Interview Scheduled on January 27; Interview itself on March 11. Kansas City field office.

I have filed even earlier than April 29th but still didn't even get interview scheduled :(. Kansas City area too. Is your case started with MSC?
