All,

Need some feedback. My PD is April 29th and Bio Aug 11th. Got the EAD/AP already but since then no update. My local office is small office and there are people after me in July 2020 and May 2020 PD already done with interview and all. Should I call USCIS rep and follow-up if they lost my file or what's holding up? Thanks in advance.

There are also still a lot of people with PD prior to you that still don’t have EAD let along interview... think yourself lucky you can work and try be patient, chances are your PD isn’t even due for interview at local field office

Almost On same timeline - my case is at NBC - processing - could be scheduled next week or in 2 years from now.. they are processing 2018 cases still

Same here. I hate having an NBC receipt number, it’s so tough to know where we are in the wait.

Look at your local Field Office (determined by your ZIP code) when checking processing time for I-485: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Yeah, I’ve looked there, but that’s only after it gets to the processing office, right? My husband’s case has been stuck at “biometrics scheduled” since July and it’s still at the NBC. It hasn’t even been passed on to a center yet. Which makes it tough to know the timeline. But either way we could be looking at 3+ years.

It’s great that he can live here while waiting. But it’s really tough on him not having any of his belongings here. He’s been living out of a suitcase since last February. I wish I could make it all better.

I485 interview notice received, will be done in Los Angeles on March 11.

Case was at NBC and PD was April 8 2020. No expedites filed, just a couple case inquiries for the combo card.

Thanks, but this info is as good as useless, I have looked at it many times, says 13 to 27 months, what good is that ? Sad situation with USCIS, no heart.

Yeah I do understand that there are a ton of people still with PD prior to mine waiting but my main question/concern was that I know people after my PD and same local office who are already done with it all. After all its only fair to compare to anyone with same local office.

Hi All,

My wife's ead status changed to new card being produced yesterday. We had a couple of questions for anyone received ead card recently.

1. How long will it take for the card to arrive by mail after the status change?

2. Will it be delivered to usps mailbox or is it going to be signature confirmed delivery?
