The IOE case didn’t go to any service center yet, it went to NBC, which isn’t traceable. My understanding is that it doesn’t go to a service center until they mark it as ready for interview. So until then, we have no way of checking case processing times for it. I know a few other people on here are having the same issue. At this rate we are looking at at least another year.

Ah, I thought you were talking about I-765.

For I-485, it will eventually be transferred to a Field Office (FO) not a Service Center. The FO is based on your zip code.

My husband is in a very similar boat, I just posted about it above.

His case is at NBC too, no movement since August, just says “Biometrics Scheduled”. He has since had his biometrics taken and it was confirmed that they are good.

How did you submit an enquiry to the status of your case at NBC? I’m really worried his case got lost in the mix and they won’t look at it until it’s been like 2yrs.

I raised a inquiry with USCIS early in December 2020 for a status update they submitted a inquiry with NBC and responded with the case

Tracking number yesterday.

2020 April filer Bio appointment in August no movement on case since

re EAD/AP I-had some succes i believe by involvement of my congress representative office.  I received the card in September 2020

according to Tier one rep - AOS case is currently   Processing applications with 2018 receipt dates in Los Angeles -

I got a successful response to a RFI by USCIS

my case is with NBC and an inquiry to the whereabouts have been placed - lets see what comes of that -

my Expectations was 5-10 months for the GC not 36 months-

it impairs my posibility to get insurance her in the US and my Danish insurance company is prohibited for insurance activities in the US -

anyone in the same situation?

back to the OP- try and reach out to your Representative office.

If you have your EAD why can’t you get insurance? You’ve always had the option of being added to your spouses insurance even without a SSN.. I’ve been on my hubbies since may last year without ssn or itin.. they used my passport number instead.

since you have EAD, you have a SSN so can obtain your own insurance too, a Green Card isn’t required for this, you just need to go purchase it.

enquiry will do nothing, I’ve submitted 2 in the last 4 months and keep getting told to submit another I’ve given up on them.. and yes 12- 36 mths seems the standard across most service centres it’s the same here in NOLA

Perhaps get a broker, it’s the business that’s insured you personally... life insurance is a different and I believe you do need to be a resident for this

We received RFIE for 944 but the beneficiary does not have Heath insurance:

Should we tick “will soon enroll” and add a letter explaining when we will go for it on the i-944 OR should we apply for health insurance now and submit the documents we get from it when sending back the RFIE response?

Credit Report:

the beneficiary never had a credit card before so doesn’t have any history. What should we then send for RFIE 944 if she has no credit history ?

As of this morning, the I765 application has updated to show card is being produced! Biometrics happened all the way back in October, so this is a huge relief.

No update on the I131 though. Does that mean I will get a separate card for it or has there just been an error in updating it?

Shocked only a few hours later we received an update on the I485 that our interview has been scheduled!

How many months is the interview set from the notice date usually?

Well which box you tick will depend on if you are going to get insurance or not.no point in ticking will soon apply if you have no intention of getting it in which case tick no or simply go get it and attach the evidance. personally I think your crazy to not have health insurance in the US, you could end up thousands of dollars in debt for a minor accident

with ref to credit report, the instructions advise you of what document you must provide to prove you don’t have a credit report available to you
