I called them 1/3/20 and was given a biometrics date via email, attended bio 1/5 my case was updated same day to say fingerprints applied. Today got an email saying they’re scheduling my GC interview and will mail me a notice. EAD still pending... fingers crossed they skip EAD and go straight t GC interview

A positive update from my end, I have been able to successfully expedite my EAD basis a job offer (filled under financial loss category). Posting a timeline of the same for reference. My card arrived on 1/9/2021 (shipped through premium priority mail) and my SSN arrived today 1/11/2021 ( I had applied for SSN by checking the option my EAD). It has been a fairly quick turn around since I requested the expedite on 12/18/2020 and I feel there is still hope for people who had their biometric after like 7 months of waiting.

Did they ask you to send in proof for the reason you were asking to have the case expedited?

Does anyone have any idea how long it takes from getting an email saying they’re scheduling interview to receiving interview notice?

How long does it take after you fax the evidence to receive a decision? Thanks in advance.

They sent me an email to fax them the documents on 12/23/2020. I faxed it the same day but 24 and 25th were holidays and 26-27 weekend. My case was approved for expedite on 12/31/2020, precisely 4 working days. But this varies case by case basis, I have read of approvals as fast as a day and as delayed as a month. If you ask USCIS they will quote 10-30 working days.
