Fort Worth here, nothing schedule yet. We are in no hurry tho.

Hi there! Thanks for chiming in, that’s helpful to know. :) Not in a rush yet either, since my husband thankfully has his EAD/AP card to tide him over for now.

My husband’s AOS status has been stuck on “Case Updated to Show Fingerprints Were Taken.” Biometrics were done end of August and he received his EAD/AP in October. Hope we all get an update soon!

My husband’s AOS status has been stuck on “biometrics scheduled” since July and he also received his EAD/AP. We tried chasing on it but we were told we can’t until it’s considered late processing...so December.

Ours is the same, biometrics done in August. Hoping that they sent it along to the local office and just forgot to update the status, but who knows!

Curious if anyone in the Dallas area (or even Fort Worth) has had their interview scheduled yet?

Dallas here, nothing yet. Got my EAD/AP since August. I went to the chat with one agent 2 weeks ago and told me the case was still in the National Benefits Center but that it was ready to schedule just waiting on the regional office. My assumption is the backlog is so large they haven't schedule any people from early 2020 in the DFW. Have not checked on the other forums lately to see if anyone from DFW has been scheduled as well.

Yes, we also figured that they must be working through a larger backlog in the DFW area! Glad you at least have your EAD/AP, though. :) Husband’s been able to use it to finally get his SSN, apply for a job, and apply for a DL (although the backlog for that here is crazy too and the earliest DMV appointment he could secure was in March!) Still keeping our fingers crossed for movement on all of our AOS applications!

Hey guys my case updated to interview scheduled as of Jan 2nd so just waiting for the mail.

April 15th filer

New Jersey local field office

Question is, is the medical valid for 1 or 2 years for K1?

I am wondering the same thing. My interview is scheduled for Jan 2021 and I had my medical done December 2019. I am going to read the Form I-693 instructions and see if I can figure it out.

Anyone in Seattle area got a GC interview yet? I completed my biometrics in November last year but the case is stuck on “fingerprints are taken”. My filing date is on April 13th but the NOA1 date is on May 5th

Has anyone had any recent experience with EAD expedite basis job offer? Also, can you accept an offer letter while the EAD is still at fingerprint applied stage? What if the expedite doesn't go through?

Hi I expedited my EAD in December based on a job offer and was able to get the card delivered to my house in about 2 weeks.

I accepted the offer even before I was scheduled for the biometrics.

Hi Congratulations on the job and EAD! And thank you for your comment. I have also been able to expedite mine basis the offer letter and actually just got the update its under production, although it took more than 2 weeks due to the holidays. If you don't mind me asking, did you already have an SSN or did you receive one via USCIS post approval of EAD?
