Still waiting on a decision though. No approval or denial yet. Making me paranoid and obsessively checking the case status throughout the day. 

Yay! Best of luck! Sounds very similar to our interview except our interviewer didn’t even want pictures. Just keep checking online AND your house mailbox! Maybe you’ll have a surprise in there that hasn’t been updated online yet!

Has anyone had any recent experience with EAD expedite basis job offer? Also, can you accept an offer letter while the EAD is still at fingerprint applied stage? What if the expedite doesn't go through?

Stimulus Checks? Have an EAD card and  working still waiting for green card as I adjust status. I’ve been in the states since February and have a Social. Would I be eligible for the new

stimulus check ?

No, since you didn't file 2018 or 2019 taxes. But when reporting 2020 taxes, the 1040 form should have a space for Recovery Rebate Credit: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-dft/f1040--dft.pdf

 

The draft instructions currently just mention the earlier $1200, so unclear if they'll quickly update the instructions with the yet to be approved additional $600.

We also just received our biometrics interview for the first week of January (the 7th)! Such a relief. Wanted to share positive news for once instead of just whining like I usually do (sorry about that haha).

im sure you have read already in the forum but those of you who have been scheduled for biometrics ask them at the centre to do both i485 and i131 at the same time. This is obviously for those who only got biometrics letters for either one or the other. hopefully it will save you time of going back for the second time to have a photo taken and just an index finger even though for the i1485 they take all 10 fingers and a picture anyway.
