Same here, did biometrics in August. We received EAD/AP but no update on i-485 since they applied the fingerprints. On the case tracker app, looks like most of the other cases around me are in the same boat. (PD 4/15)

Stuck in the same boat day 119 and counting ... sigh.....

FINALLY got my wife's biometrics appointment letter in the mail today...December 24th!! For anyone waiting, it can take 8 months and conceivably longer to get your appointment!!

First before Christmas. Congrats.  Ours is the 18th. We only got one after requesting a call back from tier 2 and the nice lady scheduled one over the phone. The notice was delivered yesterday.

Has anyone tried changing their name in their passport after marriage but before their I485 interview?

I can't foresee any issues with doing this. Has anyone had a different experience? Once I change the name on my passport it will match my I485 (which is in my married name).

Will I have any issues when it come time for the interview? Because the passport I present them will be different to the one I had when I applied for AOS.

Thanks!

April filers for ASC in MILWAUKEE, WI: Have you received biometrics appointment? When?

Just wanting to know where our office is right now. The last person that I know to get a biometric appointment was April filer (in october).

THANKS!

Hey there, I am from MKE but never received the notice for an appointment. I got my EAD without biometrics but ever since then no word on my I485. I put in an inquiry and no response ever since.

For those who already had their biometrics appt - how long after did it take for you to receive your EAD in the mail? I've read it can take 6 months or longer and that's pre-COVID.

I think my husbands took about a month and a half. Been in ready to be scheduled for interview status for 4 months.

Congratulations! I received an email today saying that my interview is scheduled too. Is there anyway to know which date the interview is before the letter of notice arrives?

I didn't get an interview notice yet, just the biometrics appointment.

Oh my bad. I misread your post. But still. Congratulations! It's been a long wait.

My EAD was approved after 2 weeks. Card was shipped to one week later and I received it within another week. So it's 4 weeks total.

Edit: It was in late August

Did you get your EAD expedited? Or was this the normal process timeline?
