My PD is the exact same as yours and got the EAD last week too. Just no update whatsoever on the AOS interview. Happy for you!

Congratulations! This is amazing news and makes me hopeful that things aren’t moving along at a snails’ pace. Husband’s combo card arrived in the mail last week as well. :)

Got off the phone with USCIS (before it disconnected 🙄) today. Biometrics were scheduled for October 21st finally. Haven't received anything in the mail yet. It's been radio silent from Cleveland past that.

Our Neverending quest to get his NOA1 for 485 is exhausting. USPS never received it we found out. My husband was given an email to contact, since its the Lockboxes that issue them (?). We have been told they never resend them out, even if lost, just use the info from the online account you make, that they would resend them (which never happened) and so on. The call disconnected before he could verify the email he has written down is proper. 🙃

Yey, biometrics scheduled though.

Sorry for asking: Did you call and ask for an appointment or just called and they told you that you have an appointment and you will receive the appointment letter?

This was how it happened.
I initially called USCIS yesterday and was scheduled for Tier 2 officer to call back.

Since it was over 24 hrs with no call back from USCIS, I decided to call them back this morning to know why I didn’t get a call back from Tier2 Officer.

The tier 1 Officer I spoke with this morning asked me why I needed a tier2 Officer yesterday, I further explained about my delay in regards to biometrics appointment.

She asked me to hold on while she checked and boom, I have been scheduled. She said, I was scheduled on oct 3rd for oct 22nd appointment.

I was surprised because the tier1 Officer I spoke with yesterday didn’t give me such information.

Thanks and congrats!

So someone as to get a biometrics appointment is a matter of PATIENCE, LUCK, TIER OFFICER'S MOOD among few other conditions ;)

I hope my cases will be in a biometrics appointment phase in the next couple of months!!! USCIS is such a joke
