Yay a little update on our case:

Did bio august 6th

Case updated to show fingerprints aug 7th

Ready to be scheduled for an interview Aug 10th

I wonder how long it'll  actually take. Checked our office's processing times and it says about 9-35 months :( but oh well at least there's some progress

Ours updated too... it now says As of September 15th: new card is being produced. That's some good news

hope i get my card so I can take my driver's test before winter gets here.. brrrrrr 😅

We received my husband's EAD/AP combo card in the mail yesterday! The AP status only changed from "Case Received" to "Case Was Approved" one day before we received the actual card in the mail.

For reference, his biometrics appointment was August 28 in Houston. The case was approved on September 10, and then six days later we had the card in hand. The AOS is still "Case is Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview".  Making progress!

Thanks for your information. When did your case receive by USCIS? My case received at 4/28 also in Houston. Hope my biometrics is coming soon.

Good luck to you for the rest of application.

We sent all of the documents on April 3 and received notification that the case was received on April 13. If it helps you, we used the 'Emma' chat on the USCIS website to find out about our biometrics appointment before we actually received the letter. We asked Emma to be transferred to a live representative and the rep confirmed that our appointment had been scheduled and told us the date as well. We received the letter a few days later.

Good luck!

Hey guys. Like Sravani, I finally got approved today as well.

Timeline:

i485/765/131: received 04/10/20

Biometrics for 485/765: 08/13/20

Biometrics for i131: 08/23/20

I765 "New Card Produced": 09/15/20

For what it's worth, my I131 is still "fingerprints applied". They were filed together, so I a hoping that the combo card has the re-entry component included on it.

Did you have your biometrics done twice? why?

My EAD case changed again:

NOA : April 21st

Aug. 6:   Biometrics

Sept 15: New Card Being Produced

Sept 17: Case Approved

I thought it was approved first then new card being produced.... but whatever keeps my case moving I guess 😅

Thank you for the update. It's good to know that it'll be a combo card. I'm waiting for mine too. Since our timeline is very close, I hope the card comes in the next couple of days for me.

can you shine some light on where the card was shipped from ?

I have registred for USPS app and it will provide you with notifications of mail and packages being sent to your adress- very useful

EAD & AP the APP finally updated with the long waited words - CASE WAS APPROVED 11 month after my I-129F was approved.

how long will the notice and cards take to come through.

I hope this is an indication all April 20 AOS  filers are soon receiving positive news...

I haven't received my card yet so I don't know. It was mailed to me two days ago so I think it'll arrived tomorrow. And yes USPS Informed Delivery service is really helpful.

Similar for me:

4/22: I-765 received

8/13: Biometrics

9/17: New card being produced

By the time I get the card, will be just about 5 months from application to EAD.
