Thank you for sending this through. I even brought in my marriage licence to the DMV, but there was still nothing they could do (so they say). I think I will just wait to get my EAD and take that in, hopefully that will work.

I had my biometrics today and my status has updated to card being produced, so I'm pretty stoked!

That’s how it is in Kansas. They told me I’d have to have my greencard or EAD with me ☹️

Some good news today. I expedited my EAD on August 13th, got it approved on August 14th. Got the NOA approval letter in mail within one week of approval. And the real card is coming. Can’t wait to see what it looks like ... Good luck all

Congratulations!

Have you received a tracking number?

I may be reading this wrong but I understood this document as saying these are the minimum requirements a state MUST require, but they can add on additional ones. I passed it to my husband as he's a lawyer and much better at reading these types of documents than me 😬  I still think it's worth a try either way though! We may go into the DMV next week and see what we can do.

For these things I think you should look into State Specific Statutes. We did in FL and my husband was able to get his DL. It is only valid for a year but better than nothing.

I totally agree, after waiting for 50 minutes to talk to someone, they told me that they couldn't transfer any calls to a Tier 2 Officer anymore.

All I got was that the processing time is 28.5-38 months and that I would have to wait since my case hasn't moved since June.

Really frustrating but I guess I'll have to wait this long now.

Do you mean 28.5-38 month to get the green card or EAD card? That's crazy if it's just getting the EAD....

I just have biometrics appointment this Tuesday 25 of August. My status changed to "Fingerprints were taken". How long should I expect to my EAD is being approve and send to me?

I highly doubt this is accurate

I hope so, the lady on the phone checked and said that, which I hope really is a joke.

This is what it says on the processing times at NBC:

My husband received his EAD card today but it didn't include the AP. I found that pretty strange. Our AP status still says "case received" and the AOS status says "biometrics scheduled".

Should we inquire about the AP? I thought they were supposed to be on the same card?

Well we had our bio appointment like August 10th or something. Yet to hear anything other than case shows biometric received
