My experience is similar to yours. I refiled because I used wrong i485 form. I redid the whole packet because I needed i944 forms for my wife and stepdaughter. It's taking forever, but not quite as long as yours yet. Accepted April 15, no word yet. I'm afraid to open the mailbox because I'm worried they'll reject again. Shouldn't be any problem though. Maybe they weren't completely ready for the numerous forms and evidence they are requiring now. I'm interested if anyone got a quick response with two of each form for K1 and K2. All my papers are in order and we meet all the requirements. The packet was quite large with all of that. The end of this week I'll reach the 30 day mark and start emailing if I don't hear anything. We really wanted the travel document soon, but I'm not hopeful at this point. I also need the EAD for social security numbers for my tax return. Hope I can extend it long enough. Hang in there.

I am not adjusting from K1 but others on here have gotten responses fairly quickly. I would call the lockbox number of trying talking to Emma on the USCIS website

Give them you petitioners info then with his/her ssn. Or the easier thing to do is use the Emma person on USCIS. i did it and was able to get all my receipt number.

I'd send an email to the lockbox now. I sent an email waiting for 15 days after my packet was delivered because a USCIS agent suggested me to directly email them to find out about my case. It's been 15 more days since I sent the email but I haven't received any response about the email I sent to the lockbox yet. However, I got my receipt numbers a week after that so I am not too worried about getting a response from them now. It sounds like getting an email response from the lockbox takes a while as well.

Also, I never got text messages from USCIS even though I submitted the e-notification forms for all of my applications. I saw someone also said they never received text messages but their credit card was charged/cheque got cashed out. I had to call USCIS to get my receipt numbers after I saw a credit card charge. It's been almost 5 days since my credit card was charged but haven't received texts from them yet. Maybe check your bank/credit card statement and call them too?

Also another note.. I discovered that my AoS packet was rejected by calling USCIS before I received a rejection in the mail. I called them a week after my first packet was delivered to check on my case. The USCIS helpline was able to tell me my first attempt was rejected. I believe the system was updated right after the rejection was processed. I received my packet back 5 days after I found out about it from the USCIS helpline.

Advance parole

you may not leave the US whilst your AOS processing is pending- doing so will render the process abandoned.

Advance Parole - allows you to travel for emergencies without abandoning your AOS process.

Thank you. Do you perhaps know if I have to apply for I-131  in the same name as my passport? My passport is the only identification have but it's in my maiden name and im filing the aos in my married name.

No. You can also file the I 131 in your married name. Just with the greencard you'll have to carry your marriage certificate as the link between your passport and everything in your new name.

Update:

Sent in my package on April 30th, it was received 5th of May. May 7th the USCIS cashed my check.

Just a couple of minutes ago I received three text messages for all of the forms I sent in (I-485, I-765 and I-131)! :)

I have a question too:

for those of you who have received a RFE, how long did it take for you to receive that after the NOA?

That varies a lot and depends when your case gets touched by someone. Could be in a month or in three. You can halfway start breathing again after you get the ready to be scheduled for Interview status update cause most RFIE happen before at NBC but you can never be absolutely sure.

Is anyone who filed early April and still waiting to hear back from USCIS? My package reached lockbox on April 1st but haven't heard anything so far.

Sorry to hear that.. have you tried contacting them? It's been more than 30 days so they should be able to tell you something?
