Green Card, No Interview....Could This Be An Error!!!!

No interview no advance warning no nothing. I immediately logged on to my account at USCIS and low and behold  the status is New Card Is Being Produced!!!!! Can you believe that? USCIS has been known to error before, so I really can only hold my breath until the card arrives in the mail. I'm sure this will happened to other folks here on VJ if in fact this was not an error. So we all can be on the look out for other people getting their GC without going on a interview. I know no interview was a common thing several years ago, but USCIS changed that to where everyone interviewed. The only thing I can think of other than being an error is USCIS decided that all the cancellations of interviews was going to set them way behind so they decided to clean out a few cases and approve without an interview.

 

For your information we submitted the standard AOS packet (pre February 24th). In addition to the supporting documents for the I-485, I-864, I-765 and the I-131 we did not send any other documents or evidence (besides the marriage license). I have no explanation other than what I have laid out here. I'll for sure post here once the card reaches us! What a Friday!!!!!!!!! And it's early still!!!!!

Congrats!  My interview was for April 2, was cancelled then I got a message saying it’s ready to be scheduled for interview. Praying it gets waived too.  What LFO are you through?

Thank you! 🙂 My interview was supposed be today in a couple of hours.  I would love nothing more than that pleasant bite on the butt 😂🤞🏽

 

To walk to the mailbox and feel my greencard inside... to share that news with my husband... to have feel secure knowing I’m allowed to stay for 2 years, that I’m allowed to work, travel and could soon amend my health insurance to a much better policy.. just the sheer relief of this chapter of my life coming to a close for a while, WELL... it would surely be a dream come true. 🌈😍🌈🙏🏽🌟🙏🏽🌟🙏🏽

We are another lucky couple to be receiving a green card without an interview. @yoda one for me We have almost identical time lines and are Wisconsin filers.

The cancellation said "decision" and it was followed by a "testing and interview" when they switched me back to "ready to schedule interview". I was approved a while after that. (See timeline for dates of status switches)

same as @yoda one for me. I'm not exactly sure when we got the paper notice in the mail. 

As for today's update, so far we have not received an email. We discovered it on "accident" just by checking the case.
