My fiancee got a police report done in here city about 1 1/2 hour flight north of Lima, when we have the interview date will she need a new one done from here city and/or in Lima? Also what about a medical exam I have been hearing about. I know we have few months to go but I was just curious. Thanks.

You may or may not need a new police certifcate. It depends how long its valid for and when you will likely have your interview. Normally police certificates are valid for 3 to 6 months.

With packet 3, you should get a list of doctors were your fiancee will have her medical at. You will schedule it or the embassy will. But you have to have the medical completed before a visa can be granted. You may only be able to get the medical scheduled once you have packet 3.

the police report in peru is good for 3 months. when you make the doctors appt, dont use dr. oscar situ. we had a bad experience with him. lima consulate issues a packet 3 and 4 together, so you will know your interview date as soon as she gets the packet. good luck!
