Well, I have contacted my representative, the Ombudsman, called the USCIS number once or twice, contacted the USCIS via the portal...not sure what else I can do?

Same here. I opened several service requests, contacted congressman, ombudsman. Its the same reply each time. There is nothing else we can do other than eventually file a lawsuit if nothing happens.

Are all the cases got stuck because you guys came here very long time ago when they still hadn’t used digital copies? I’m trying to make sense why some cases are stuck and some just moved really fast. what’s the common thing here

The common thing is most likely the Covid disarray that existed in March, April and May of 2020...

I like your spreadsheet...

I think so too, right when the covid shut-downs happened and a big part of USCIS closed down, I bet they didn't know what to do with all applications since no interviews were happening at the time, and they just sent them off to some storage facility to store them while figuring out how to continue. Unfortunately it seems that facility hasn't been prioritized when opening USCIS back up, so many cases going there would come to sit there for a very long time, and still are. Extremely frustrating for you guys.

I bet that facility (storage/records center/whatever) is normally for cases that are already finished/closed, but that during covid they used it for pending applications too.

I got an email from the Ombudsman this morning saying that they sent a follow-up inquiry to USCIS. Not that I am expecting a different result than last time, but good to know that they actually stay on the case and send follow-ups to (hopefully) keep up some pressure.
