I admire your lightheartedness about it.

This is a country that sent people to the moon four times? And they can't figure out how to retrieve a file from a cave in Missouri??? I got so frustrated l decided to leave the country for an indefinite period. No return date! Hopefully they'll have sorted their feet out by the time of my return.

I was just on my portal and the estimated processing time just went up from 4 months to 5 months...has anybody else seen an increase in processing times?

Yeah, mine started at 12 months. I'm now at 19 months. Current estimate for normal processing times in SF is 13.5-18.5 months and my portal estimate is for a total of 30 months.

Submitted request to ombudsman on Oct 4.

Oct 25 got an email update:

The CIS Ombudsman's Office has reviewed your request for case assistance and contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regarding your application/petition.

Today, Oct 17 got another update:

The Ombudsman's Office sent a follow-up inquiry to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) regarding your request for case assistance.
We will notify you when we receive a response from USCIS.

No action for anybody with retrieving our files from the data centers…depressing.

No action in my case either, my file is also stuck at the NRC. Super depressing. Meanwhile I am ready in the April 2021 thread how people get their interviews scheduled left and right. How is this fair?
