Thanks Roddie,

I'll hang tight and put in another couple of weeks of wait time...what else can I do...not much?

Hi Roddie,

I just got off the phone with what I presume to be a Tier 1 Officer. I was given a Service Item Number (Will be followed up with a phone call?) and a Service Request Number  (Will be followed up with an email?)

Does this seem to be a standard course of action?

Good luck to all of us...

yes. Give the 10-20 days. Most likely you'll receive a standard bogus email but just ignore it because you will get a call

I posted this on another thread so just fyi .

I had a call with the FRC director for Lees Summit (MO) on Friday to check on the status of their facility. He told me the return to work is pretty much at 25% and the folks in the office are limited to working 6 hours a day. The situation hasn't changed much since July 2020.Specific to that area, the Covid rates have increased in the past two weeks and since their reopening plans are linked to that metric, it seems unlikely to see a shift to phase 2 of the reopening anytime soon.

So for all of you guys who are stuck due to files being at NARA/FRC either expect to wait a long time OR figure out plan B.

I was just on my portal and the estimated processing time just went up from 4 months to 5 months...has anybody else seen an increase in processing times?

Same. Just talked to the Georgia FRC (Florida is attached to this archive) and the lady explained that they have only 3 people working right now and starting next Monday they will have 10 and that it will take more than three month to get to the request that will be filed.  So I don’t know how it works with USCIS but doesn’t sound very promising(

Went from 20+ days to this….

Estimated time* until case decision:

Things are taking longer than expected. You do not have to do anything at this time.
