Wow! That's truly bizarre! There must be something unique about your case? No? This seems so wrong! I think you should talk to your local congressman about your case.

Nothing unusual about me. German citizen that’s been here since high school. They already had my biometrics. Continuous education/employment. No criminal record.

Only unusual thing is that since I’m German I only have 24 months or I have to abort the application.

Filed online on April 22, 2020. Fingerprints reused. No movement after that.

Not in my case. Same for my adult daughter. At least in her case, it changed to " case being actively reviewed" after biometrics. Mine still reads: "case received", almost 18 months later. Took the pressure off by leaving the US for some weeks. Hopefully, they will surprise me with an interview notice while I'm out here on the beach this afternoon. Now, what's your theory of the case Yupibotan?

Filed online April 21, 2020. Fingerprints reused. I have been scheduled 3 times and they have cancelled the 3 interviews right before the interview date, between Feb and July. No movement after that.

What's your field office, Vicente? I filed on the 18th of April. Detroit.

Miami, Florida. It has been a nightmare and I have no answers from no one... I have escalated the case a couple of times with no luck.

Are you April 2020 filer? I’m from Seattle field office and got my naturalization done. I thought my field office is one of the slowest so was hoping all April 2020 filers are done with naturalization.

Yes, April 2020. I guess that due to Covid and lack of employees it has been delayed but I don't get the 3 letters I have gotten for the interview and then the cancellation...

Guys, most of the April filers are in the same boat. I filed on April 2020 my wife filed on August 2020, she got her citizenship. This is insane. Our cases stuck in somewhere and USCIS doesn’t do anything. I believe we will fight for years.

I hear you Googleguy but what is your theory of the case? What do you think is happening to the April 2020 filers? Even congress people cannot get answers! I tried the ombudsman and she shriveled away.

Our cases stuck in NRC and no one has access to pull our cases at this moment. I do not know how are they going to fix this issue but it’s the truth. What are your theories for this situation? My theory is very valid because some of the applicant filed our of processing time and their cases are still waiting with no response.
