I already contacted one of the senators here and got a canned response that there is nothing they can do because the case is within processing time. So, basically it was zero help.

I just emailed the other senator today. If they don't respond by next week, I'll reach out to the local representative in my district.

Have you tried contacting Tier 2 at USCIS? They’re usually able to help. I did that during AOS and a couple of hours after talking to them I got the interview scheduled

Called a few weeks ago and was not sure if it was Tier 2 who we spoke to, but they put us on hold and were able to "look into" the case. They then told us to write a physically letter to the field office here asking for biometrics reuse. I thought it was weird as they did not provide any specific person or office to address it to. Maybe this was not a Tier 2 office that we spoke with. I am planning to have my husband call again soon, will have him specifically ask for Tier 2 when he does so.

Usually, after the rep connects you with Tier 2, they call you back a couple of hours later. Definitely try speaking to an actual tier 2 officer; it might help!

If they're busy and give you this msg "im sorry, all of our service representatives are currently helping other customers"

Just close the chat room REFRESH and start again with the same steps.

Also make sure you have your RECEIPT NUMBER and the questions ready...

@ShpatBeqa They really love the "your case is still within processing time" response. That's the response I keep getting too, still zero update on biometrics here. Have you tried contacting any congressmen/women yet to see if they can help?

I calculated out when my husband's case would officially be out of processing time and that time would be around August 15, 2021. Absurd!

Their priority is marriage and family related applications. I just wonder, if they don't need employment based immigrants, why they admit them in the first place? Like they can fill in all the job vacancies with those applicants and speed up the whole process for them and help the others don't waste their time on their inefficient immigration system.
