I'm not optimistic but i would like to exhaust all possibilities just in case.

Not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but 3 weeks after I opened the case with tier 2 support requesting bio appointment as soon as possible, it finally moved forward.

it says expect a reply by February 4, 2021.

Yeah, I'm open to anything at this point...apparently some other April filers are also waiting at my local office (Chicago) so maybe they're just super slow. I don't know. I've seen other people say moving from one state to another is not supposed to slow down the case and that they're supposed to honor the date you originally filed, so it's weird to me that people who filed after have gotten biometrics, but nothing here.

I did that back in July for "did not receive notice by mail", because it used to say they were going to send me some kind of notice that the case was transferred to the new office, but I never got that notice and the mention of transfer to the new office disappeared completely from myusics.

I guess technically I'm still within normal processing time, (case inquiry date is September 22, 2019) as of today, but at this point I just want to know if the case even got transferred to the new local office....I haven't had any indication or anything that it has, and the status mentioning it disappeared entirely from the account. When I filed the inquiry back in July, all I got was this generic reply that I posted a few pages back:

Thanks for helping out everyone, really appreciate it. 😇

I finally got my biometrics notice 1/23/21. I don’t have the date yet. But how long does it usually take from biometrics to being interviewed?

I was able to see my biometrics appointment letter under “documents” the next day after 9 am. My biometrics appointment was Jan 13 and I got a notice about 30 mins after the biometrics that they were actively working on my case. Then on Jan 18 I got the notice that interview was scheduled.

I just checked my account again, my Completion time is now October 2021. I’m getting really impatient. I hope it won’t really get that long.

i don’t think that the estimated completion time is accurate. Mine used to say September 2020, then went away completely sometime in July/August. It came back sometime in November. Now it says my estimated time is June 2021 but my interview is Feb 26.

So I know somebody that needed to call to reschedule her interview in the Boston office. She called uscis at this number +1-800-375-5283 and kept saying info pass or info pass interview and she was able to talk to an officer pretty quickly. I think is worth trying for you! She called more than once btw

So frustrating. I just checked the "Receipt date for a case inquiry" for Chicago and it says May 19, 2019. Looks like I'm still within "normal processing time" then... :bonk:

Hm, seems here that the Chicago office is plowing through their backlog. At the beginning of January, the case inquiry date was May 2019, and now as of today it moved up to September 2019.
