I just found out that someone else and I share the same Alien Number which is extremely weird for me! I found out when i got an online response thru the app regarding the status of my application and saw that the letter was directed to a different subject example my name is Jason Smith but the letter read Dear John Doe. Does anyone know what happens with this? I was told a Tier 2 Officer will be reaching out in 7 days guaranteed.

That's crazy!! How is that even possible!? Sure they would see that the number is already assigned to someone else. Could it be a case of identity theft where someone stole your A-number?

That's what I was wondering, that is too crazy. How do you not see that the name in the letter and the applicant do not match? It's puzzling. I am trying to find out but If I have to go to an office to bring my Green Card and Social Security as proof then let it be so, but someone is getting in trouble.

i had my interview today and now I am a citizen! 
i have got interview notice dated as of December 11 to appear on January 11. 
 

interview was short and to the point. Marriage based N400, civics first, then she went over my application and reading&writing test. She asked if I would like to get sworn in same day. 
 

one hour after the interview I attended the Oath ceremony, and now I am I citizen! 
 

applied April 24, Baltimore office. 

Congrats...I applied on the 30th of April hopefully I’ll get an interview soon. I am in Maryland as well...

I only knew about the interview because I logged in to the system and saw the invitation in documents. The hard copy I never received until today. 
 It was actually delivered today, 3 days after I got my citizenship. It took usps 1 month to deliver the Interview notice since it was mailed on 12/14. 
so make sure you check your profile with uscis. Luckily, I did.

Interview was yesterday and my husband was in and out in under 15 minutes with a notice saying he passed. Oath ceremony scheduled next Friday and posted already online!
